Community Management isn’t for the faint of heart – and Ben uses his calm demeanor and patience to effectively help advise Boards and community members through the intricate web of issues that arise when operating a community development. As a licensed Common Interest Community Manager, Ben acts as Nest’s Principle Employee and maintains the designation of Association Management Specialist ®.
Ben’s career in property management started as a summer gig while in college at Elon University and after 15 years in the business, he brings a wealth of experience to the team. Having worked with a portfolio of vastly different properties that range from small condominiums or townhome communities with only a few members, to several hundred unit developments that encompass a variety of property types and uses – there’s a good chance we’ve managed a property just like yours!
Ben balances the busy life of a property manager with golf, fishing, and spending time with his wife and three daughters.
With a strong background in accounting and operating systems, Kathy is always looking for better ways to help Nest prosper and continue to grow.
Born and raised in Virginia, Kathy made her way from the beaches of the Chesapeake area to the mountains of Charlottesville. She spent her early career in public accounting before becoming the controller of a small auto finance company. After taking a few years off from the business world to focus on her children, she became an independent finance consultant. Kathy consulted with Nest for over a year before coming on full-time as Accounting Manager.
When Kathy isn't tackling one of Nest's many projects, she can be found travelling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
An entrepreneur at heart, Jonathan began his real estate career as a real estate investor in Charlottesville and earned his real estate license in 2003.
Combining his sales and marketing expertise with his love for real estate, Jonathan founded Nest Realty in 2008. Since then, Nest Realty has been honored as the nation's "Most Innovative Brokerage" by Inman News in 2009 and has been named to the INC. 5000 list of the fastest growing American companies in 2013 and 2014. In 2011, Jonathan helped co-found Nest Property Management, which manages residential properties throughout Central Virginia.
A Virginia native and graduate of Woodberry Forest and UVA, he resides with his family in Albemarle County.
Born and raised in Central Virginia, Corey attended Radford University before returning to Ruckersville where he lives with his lovely lady, Erin, and handsome son, Avett.
Corey's primary role is overseeing the daily operation's of our Home Owner Association's. Corey joins our team with over 12 years of customer service experience. With his energetic personality, professional demeanor, and determination to solve any problem, Corey is a pleasure to work with!
